The Port Adelaide Football Club is without doubt the most successful senior football club, not only in South Australia but Australia Wide. It all started back in 1870 when the club was born and since then has gone on to win an Australian record of 36 premierships including 6 in a row and the honour of being crowned champions of Australia on 4 occasions.
The club has since branched off into the AFL in 1997 and already has 1 Premiership up its sleeve.
